Exclusions & Maintenance Advice
Warranty coverage may be voided in the following situations:
Impact, abrasion, or chemical damage to the surface finish.
Natural resin leakage or movement around timber knots.
Inadequate or neglected maintenance. Minor cracks must be addressed immediately per our Homeowner Maintenance Guide.
Poor design leading to excess moisture exposure (e.g., areas near swimming pools, leaking gutters, or high humidity zones).
Contact with chemically active building materials such as plaster, cement, or brick acid.
Use of abrasive cleaning methods or high-pressure washers.
Incorrect storage, installation, or unauthorised alterations to the product.
Failing to follow installation guidelines, including:
Cutting through joinery joints.
Using dark colours in high-heat areas.
Improper door closing devices or leaving doors wedged open.
Damage from external factors such as cleaning tools, ladders, fire, flood, lightning, or burglary.
Special Notes
Thin double-glazed units (with 8mm cavity or less) have a reduced 5-Year Warranty.
Full replacement within the first 2.5 years.
Supply-only replacement from 2.5 to 5 years (re-glazing costs excluded).
Warranties are valid only after full payment is received. Outstanding balances void warranty rights.
Avoid power washing or using garden hoses on timber joinery, as this can lead to seal failure and timber swelling.
Product wrapping must be removed if items are stored long-term. No warranty applies if goods remain in plastic wrap beyond 3 months, as moisture can accumulate.
